  9. Mata Siddhidatri is one of the forms of Adi-Parashakti, the supreme goddess of power, who appeared from the left half of Lord Shiva. She bestows all kinds of siddhis or supernatural powers to her devotees. Even Lord Shiva attained all his attainments with her help. Mata Siddhidatri is not only worshiped by humans but also by Dev, Gandharva, Asura, Yaksha, and Siddhas.

    When Mata Siddhidatri appeared from the left half of Lord Shiva, he was named Ardha Nariswar. She sits on a lotus seat and is depicted with four hands. In her left hands, she holds a lotus flower and Shankh, while in her right hands, she holds a Gadda and Chakra.

    Mata Siddhidatri is worshiped on Chaitra/Ashvin Shukla Navami, and her rides are lotus. Her associated planet is Ketu, and her colors are purple in Chaitra and pink in Ashvin.
